3D effect, 3D painting, Classical painting, Hiperrealistic painting, Azure paintng
Aleksandar Radovanović was born 1966. in Šabac and since 1986. he has been living and working in Belgrade. Lesandar, with Svetislav Arsić Serbon is creator of painting style Virtual Realism. During his career Lesandar has had many exhibitions in the country and abroad. You can see the permanent exhibition of Lesandr's paintings in etno house Lesandar, which is located in serbian village Klenak, near Belgarde.
About Virtual Realsim
Main goal in Virtual Realism is achieving 3D effect. In the classical painting for achieving 3D effect are used the following rules:
- Geometrical perspective
- Air perspective
- Contrast of dark and light
- Shadows
In that kind of classical painting the goal is that observer get impression of third dimension, and in hiper-realism the aim is to get real look of colors and details.
In the Virtaul Realism and in the painting with this technique the aim is not to get impression, but to put observer in front of final act. Observer can't resist impression. All his sences have to be involved as if they could see third dimension, opposite to mind which knows that is't not real and that paintng has two dimensions. Virtal Realsim and its technique of painting confuse observer's eyes, so he can't see two dimensions. And mind itself, well-known as third eye, can't resist impression of paintning's 3D effect. That's the way Virtual Realsim has been created.
About Technique of Painting
Technique of painting in Virtual Realsim considers well-known technique of making hiperrealistic paintings with color. This technique considers work with coats. There is a few coats:
- Transparent coats
- Half-transparent coats
- Opaque coats
- Mat coats
During creating of a painting, using coats has a function in azure painting, conducted by a layers. During his work painter has to follow phiysics rules and if it is possible by using two different types of colors, for example dark colors pink, lemon, yellow over the light colors red, light yellow etc. That's the way how 3D effect will achieve. Light that passes trough azure coats becames broken, so that different image comes in the observer's eyes. In that painting closer to us is what we want to see, no metter of real nature of things that are well-known to us. With precisely drafting of coats in azure technique of painting, we achieve moving of picture by depth. That's the way we achieve 3D effect.
